Residential Renovation and Design for duplex. The client wanted to modernize their two flat housing unit and to convert it into a one family unit.

There was also an unfinished basement that they wanted to transform into a bachelor or studio rental unit.

My proposal opened the stairwell, added a vestibule, and removed a wall. This transformed the adjoining room and kitchen into an open space which suited their lifestyle of dinner entertaining. A deck was added that turned the corner of the house to connect with the den. The basement was given an open style approach and the walls were finished with a rustic brick reminiscent of Old Montreal style lofts.
