The challenge was to design a more complex interior design project, complete with a set of architectural drawings and details, researching several different restaurants to develop a creative concept.

The purpose of this design is to create a magical, imaginary world in an undersea motif reminiscent of the lost kingdom of Neptune. A relaxed yet exciting atmosphere was created by the use of gorgeous colors found in the ocean, and by evoking a mysterious, enchanting quality through the use of trompe-l'oeil and replication of ruins of an ancient mythological sea world. The exterior façade of the restaurant was designed to be finished with highly polished gold-coloured metal and adorned with portholes to represent a "yellow submarine" that one entered through to this magic kingdom.This theme restaurant embodies a make-believe world, in which meeting a mermaid seems possible. Decorations and detailing serving the central idea and special lighting effects, elaborate. By creating a definite "look", I hoped to create a "Signature Statement" for the future planned expansion of a high-end restaurant chain.
